If such a person is who your child wants to live with as their preferred parent, why do you need to hold them back? Children are not property, our job as parents is to guide them to be the best they can be!

Is this the "Teenage Phase" people talk about where they are rebellious and do not follow instructions? The phase when you tell them to do a task 100 times and their response is the same; "I know", "I will do it"; etcetera, and of course they still won't do it.

I was thinking "OMG, I am not ready"; to be fair I was never going to be ready as that was a path I never wanted, as far as I did not get married, I wasn't going to have any kids, that was my stance.
