According to the Texas Health and Human Services, Fentanyl is a powerful synthetic opioid that is up to 50 times stronger than heroin and 100 times stronger than morphine and it kills. I hope people do not get addicted to this drug as it sounds dangerous. In my case, I am (or was) addicted to my computer, I think I understand a bit now what an addiction is! An addiction is something you cannot live without. And of course, this is not me comparing my addiction to a drug that has taken lives.
They say we are all addicted to something!
There can be excuses for addiction though, but no excuses eh, I can only hope these are positive addictions and not the life-threatening ones. I often imagine what would happen if the internet crashes 💭 , safe to say, I crossed the first bridge on my computer addiction and it was liberating 💃
Are all addictions bad though? I would think not, but also it is said that; too much of everything is bad, isn’t it? So even when it’s something good, you need a break, yes or no? I know though that “Positive Addiction” is possible, this writer explains it better.
Anyway, back to my story. So for the first time in forever last weekend, I was separated from my computer 😭 , and it was voluntary! I must admit, I hesitated. It was the first time I would leave my computer at home while I went on a trip outside my town for over 24 hours 😱 .
Would I do this again?
I attended the 1-Year Birthday Party of the Tirana | Girl Gone International Facebook Group.
This was a fun leave the boys at home trip and it was amazing getting to meet other ladies from different parts of the world. We played card games that meant you needed to engage with everyone, I found a birthday month-mate, yes 🙌 ! I had fun, and went to an after-after party with some other ladies for more karaoke and drinks, and then I walked back to my hostel to snooze at around 2 midnight after a stop-over to fill our bellies with some fast food.
I had breakfast at a restaurant I discovered the previous evening before heading back home. There is another story there, coming soon haha 😝.
