I suck at naming things. You know how some people are very particular about naming everything they own, well I find I am the opposite of that, I know because I imagine naming things is beautiful and I wish I could too, BUT I SUCK AT IT.
I have made my peace with that though so when I wanted to come up with a name for this blog, it took a lot of deliberations with my daughter, close friends, and family members to arrive at JourneywithMojisola.com
We went from Wandering with Mojisola to Mary in the Balkans to Mary the Explorer and Nomadic Mary, haa!
Mary the Explorer was a big NO when it came up because the word sets a big expectation from me to you my readers. This is my journey and I am a Scorpio, I very much would like to preset my expectations on what I can give.
Nomadic Mary was not bad, but too bland, I loved wandering the most because it was unpredictable, whereas Mary in the Balkans sounds beautiful but restrictive.
So here we are; My Journey captures My Life, Past, Present, and Future. My Journey sums up my existence and I hope you find something useful that resonates with you on my journey!
